| #BFP20 Solid Brass Backflow Preventers are UPC code approved and are built to ASSE 1011 standards. They effectively prevent back siphon of water into the potable drinking water system at the hose bibb, venting any higher backpressure to the atmosphere. This method is most effective to prevent cross-connection between campsites or other devices attached to hose bibbs in the same water system. Very inexpensive, yet they offer excellent protection. Order by each or in lots of 20. We have no minimum!
Once the backflow preventer is installed with the factory screws, it cannot be removed. We recommend the #SS20 Stainless Steel Removable Locking Screws. This item allows backflow preventers to be removed for service of the hose bibb, yet remain tamperproof. |
