This OPD Cylinder Valve is designed for use on steel DOT LP Gas cylinders with Quick Connect 20 lbs capacity. This is the valve for Ducane and Weber gas grill tanks. The outlet features a back check assembly - designed to prevent gas flow until a leak-free connection is made with an inlet adapter. The valve complies with both the ANSI Z21.58 Standard for Outdoor Cooking Appliances and the CAN/CGA-1.6 Standard for Container Connections which apply to new barbecue grill cylinders manufactured after October, 1994. They also conform to requirements in the 1998 edition of NFPA 58.

OPD Type II ''Quick Connect'' Valve

Features:

Nylon tapered seat disc on shut-off provides positive closing.
Full size 1 1/4" wrenching boss located at rear of the valve minimizes possible damage to valve outlet when installing into cylinder.
Relief valve is recessed in body forging to resist damage and tampering.
Low profile fits within cylinders' protective collars.
Self tapping screw secures handwheel to stem.
Slotted vent reduces possibility of tampering.
