Recertification of a DOT cylinder can be flawless, smooth, and easy

DOT REGULATIONS REQUIRE THAT DATES BE STAMPED ON CYLINDERS

In a matter of seconds this can be accomplished:

Step 1: Engage a low volume of air pressure - (50 p.s.i. to 60 p.s.i.)

Step 2: Apply stamp-die to the cylinder for a smooth printing of the number/character desired.

Step 3: Hold air gun firmly and apply pressure, then pull trigger

Any work performed on propane tanks must be performed by qualified personel trained to recertify propane tanks. Check with your propane supplier for proper training or go to National Propane Gas Association.
